The Preteeth API offers smile analysis and cosmetic treatment simulation. This document will guide you from setting up your account to utilizing our API.

Step 1: Apply for a User Account

Contact us at service@preteeth.com to initiate the account setup process. We will arrange a meeting to create your user account, which will include your provided email and a temporary password.

Step 2: Reset Your Password

Upon receiving the temporary password, immediately reset it for security. Call the following endpoint using the POST method: /api/1.0/user/reset-password.

Step 3: Obtain an API Key

Authentication to access our API is done using an API key. To acquire your API key, make a POST request to /api/1.0/user/generate_key, providing your account details. Note that the API key cannot be retrieved again for security reasons, so safeguard it.

Step 4: Access the APIs Using Your API Key

With the obtained API key, you can access the smile analysis and cosmetic treatment simulation APIs. Include the API key in the authorization field of the header. You'll only have access to the APIs you've purchased.

Step 5: Renew Your API Key Periodically

For security, regularly renew your API key. Call the following endpoint using the POST method: /api/1.0/user/generate_key. Remember that renewing the API key will invalidate the old one. Keep your new API key secure.

Step 6: Monitor API Usage

Track your API usage by making a GET request to /api/1.0/user/api-usage.
